Tips for Your Golf Drive

A good policy is to exercise your muscles using light dumbbells and to stretch your larger muscles on a daily basis.
The set-up for a golf swing is very important. By not being aligned correctly, the chances of hitting the ball properly are low. Try to picture the power from your swing pushing at the golf ball at the point of impact instead of envisioning a downward hit on the ball.
Another good tip for your golf drive swing is to envision your body pushing at the golf ball from the back. Lots of beginning golfers attempt to smash the ball into the air. Plus, at the midpoint of your golf swing, ensure that most of your weight is on your back foot.
At the point in your shot when you are about to start your downswing, ensure that the storage of energy is still there and that it not leaning over the side of your back foot. The way to do this is to bend your back elbow towards the core of your body while starting your downswing. Then, at the end of the downswing, let your body’s weight switch to your left foot if you are a right-handed golfer.
A great way to align your body correctly for a golf shot is to imagine a railroad track between yourself and your target area. Try to concentrate keeping your body within the train tracks during the swing. This golf drill will make sure that you remain focused on where to aim your shot properly.
